About the Webcast:
Microsoft SQL Server provides a high quality and cost-effective platform for business intelligence applications. It enables developers and database professionals to design data warehouses; perform extract, transform, and load (ETL) operations on data from existing data sources; and analyze that data to obtain a deep insight into organizational operations and trends.

To effectively perform these activities, database designers and application developers need an intimate understanding of the structure of data sources. They must have the ability to effectively model data warehouses and perform ETL operations, and use those models in conjunction with SQL Server Analysis Services to know which combinations of data provides the best approach to understanding business needs.

This webcast explains how to leverage SQL Server Analysis Services to create compelling business intelligence applications through the use of data modeling tools, such as CA ERwin Data Modeler.

Attendees of this Webcast will find out about:
  • Technologies such as data warehouses that hold the source data
  • Processes to extract source data
  • Calculations and manipulations to reveal trends within data
  • Reports and interactive tools that display data to users throughout the company

Who Should Attend?
Database designers, developers, architects, and managers interested in learning how SQL Server Analysis Services creates compelling business intelligence applications.

I agree, first part was more for beginners of datawarehouse design.
I wish they had demo on how Erwin integrates with SSAS and what it does more than you could do from BIDS. I got tempted to install Erwin trial version now. I used to use it years ago and it was good tool.
