Datawarehouse Analyst Position - Toronto,Canada

The successful candidate will join our collaborative team of business-focused technology professionals. This role is responsible for the architecture, development, optimization, and maintenance of our client’s MS SQL 2005/Proclarity datawarehouse to satisfy business requirements. This role will be required to assist in the development of requirements, and to assist their business analysts in the delivery of quality, user-ready, analytics/reporting. The incumbent will be expected to exercise standard engagement practices, project management, and communication principles, with internal and external parties to ensure solutions of quality and value.
- Lead technical integration of data sources/interfaces
- Develop MS SQL 2005 Analysis services cubes
- Develop and maintain ETL best practices
- Build Proclarity interfaces and briefing books
- Develop and maintain data architecture, code structure/standards, and metadata
- Assist in the management of 3rd party database vendors, consultants, and contractors
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Proclarity
- Microsoft SQL 2005 T-SQL, MDX, Analysis Services, Reporting Services, Integration Services
- Data modeling (incl. CASE)
- Mid-market ERP experience (technical) preferably in Great Plains
- Ability to facilitate cross-functional project teams
- Demonstrated innovation and problem solving skills
