Dave, a lot of your conclusions to your questions are wrong. If someone did not pass your test, it could mean that they have a better understanding of BI issues that the interviewer. And, in Q2, a lot of SSAS consultants don't even refer or think of Measures as a dimension, it's more of a collection. It has no hierarchy, and is really reflective of nothing more that the fields in the fact table. And besides, the interview is rather mean-spirited; you can be honest with the candidate if you feel they don't know enough without humiliating them, but if they're a robot, they'll make great BI architects because not being able to interface with the business users is surely the best way to build a system that works for everyone...
