Don't listen to the psycho comment. I have used a similar methodology for interviewing candidates(thought I like some of your questions better) with excellent results. I have found great candidates, and built an exceptional team of MS BI Architects that have never been asked to leave by a client. Another technique I have used when I worked at MS, was to use scenarios. That is a share with them a tough situation at a recent client and ask them how they would solve. Very similar methodology.
