On Dec 23, 2010 Microsoft released cumulative update package 5 (CU5) for SQL Server 2008 R2.

Cumulative Update 5 contains hotfixes for the Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 issues that have been fixed since the release of SQL Server 2008 R2.

Note This build of this cumulative update package is also known as build 10.50.1753.0.
