Ever get this error when processing your SSAS cube:
Errors in the OLAP storage engine: The sort order specified for distinct count records is incorrect.
I just had this when processing my cube and it has taken me a while to work out what the problem was. It appeared that some ‘unclean’ data had made it through my Data Warehouse ETL process. The problem appears to be due to the fact that the Collation settings of the data warehouse and the cube were set up differently to each other, the DW is set to SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS and the Cube to Latin1_General_CI_AS.
