Sr BI/Data warehouse full time permanent positions available in NYC/Tampa.

Qualifications

• Years of Experience
  • 6+ years IT/IS experience
  • 6+ years working with various databases and database architecture
  • 3+ years in data warehousing
  • 3+ years in business intelligence and analytics
• Technical Range
  • Solid understanding of database design theory (logical and physical)
  • Solid understanding of data warehouse design and theory (logical and physical)
  • Solid understanding of ETL design and theory
  • Experience with a broad range of databases (SQL Server, Oracle, UDB/DB2), including data structures, indexing, and scripting languages
  • Expertise in OLAP, ETL tools, logical & physical design, and query optimization.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack including all of the following: Analysis Services (MDX, Cube Design), Integration Services, and Reporting Services.
  • Strong technical leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
  • 3+ years Experience with SQL Server 2005/2008
  • Strong data manipulation, interrogation using SQL
•  Practical/Project Experience
  • At least 8 projects involving either databases or data warehousing
  • At least 3 large-scale database design and implementation projects

These systems include Application Architecture, Application Development, Enterprise Application Development (EAI), Systems Integration, Data Warehousing and Data Mart Development, Corporate Portals, Mobile and Wireless Technologies, Supply Chain Automation, B2B E-Commerce, Retail & Distribution Order Management, and Website Integration.
• Our systems are built using the latest technologies including .NET (C#, VB ASP) BizTalk, Sharepoint, Java/J2EE, SQL Server and Oracle to name a few.
• All of our Consultants participate in every phase of the development life cycle including analysis, architecture, design, coding, testing, and implementation.
