Integrating Visio 2007 with SQL Server Analysis Services
Previously we discussed how to integrate SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) with Excel 2007 in the article Accessing Cubes from Excel 2007. There is another tool avaiavle in the Office 2007 that can be used to to connect to a SSAS databases, which is Visio 2007. There are two reasons why Visio is not an automatic choice to connect to SSAS:
- Visio it-self is not a popular tool among the business users. Unlike, Excel most business users fo not have Vision installed on their computer.
- Unawareness is another reason that Visio is not used as client tool for SSAS. This article should resolve this.
